Ron Hull Jnr Ltd supply all types of industries with a comprehensive range of ferrous metal recyclates manufactured to current UK and International specifications.    Our Recycling process ensures that these valuable ferrous metal resources are returned back to the manufacturing industries – for example as furnace feed for steelworks/foundries or to major car manufacturers to produce new car parts.

Our continued investment in up-to-date metal recovery plant and machinery also ensures that the preparation and processing of various grades of ferrous scrap metal is to the highest recognised standards for our clients, reflecting our desire to continually improve the range of services offered to our ever-increasing client base – as well as to protecting the environment through more-efficient recycling processes!

We not only sell locally and nationally, but have the technology and customer base to sell our products on a worldwide global scale, whether this be loading containers via ramp or with our two state-of-the-art container lifters, enabling us to load 20ft containers in the most efficient and safest possible way.

We also have dock facilities to load large shipments of material.

We sell the following Ferrous Metal grade products to UK and International customers:

• Grade 9B - Burnt Vehicle Engines and Cylinder Block Scrap. Engines which have been depolluted and put through the furnace, leaving the cast block and minimal cranks and cogs.
• Grade OA - Plate and Structural Scrap Metal, ncluding plate, girder and wagon scrap - all which are over 6mm in thickness and cut to below 1.50m x 0.60m x 0.60m.
• Grade 1 - Old Steel Scrap. Grade 1 Scrap includes piping, angle iron, commercial vehicle chassis etc. which are below 6mm thickness, and 1.50m x 0.60m x 0.60m in size.
• Grade 2 - Old Steel Scrap. Grade 2 Scrap includes car wheels, racking, and fencing, all of which must be below 1m x 0.6m x 0.6m in size and 3mm thickness.
• Grade 5A - Compressed Old Light Steel Scrap - baled scrap cars, which must be depolluted, have tyres and battery removed, all oils and fluids drained, L P G tanks, and air bags deployed and removed.
• Grade 7B - Heavy Carbon Steel Turnings from engineering works. All scrap carbon steel turnings must be free of grindings and dust.
• Grade 8A - New Loose Light Steel Cuttings deriving from pressing scrap.
• Grade 8B - Loose Light Steel Cuttings. Cuttings scrap must be excluded from tin coated, terne coated and enameled material.
• Grade 9A - Heavy Cast Iron Scrap. Cast must not exceed over 13mm in thickness, this includes machines and piping and must be free of burnt metal.
